What is sleep coaching?
A sleep coach is like a personal trainer for your sleep. Your sleep coach will create a sleep improvement plan tailored to your specific sleep problems using CBTI methodologies and techniques.
How long does it take for CBTI to work?
The Delta Sleep program lasts 60 days and most clients will start to see changes to their sleep after just a few weeks.
Can anyone try CBTI?
CBTI is suitable for most adults. The program works best for those willing to make changes to improve their sleep. Our Delta Sleep coach likes to use the saying, “We can’t expect things to change, if we don’t make any changes,” and believe it applies well to the sleep coaching program.
Those with seizure disorders, untreated sleep apnea, bipolar disorders, and schizophrenia disorders should talk with their doctor first before starting a CBTI program.
Does CBTI have any side effects?
CBTI is considered generally safe with minimal side effects. The most predominant side effect is tiredness during the first few weeks of the program until sleep issues are improved.
I’m already on medications and treatment plans for insomnia. Can I still try CBTI?
Yes, if you’re currently taking sleep medication, CBTI may be beneficial in improving your sleep. Please speak with your physician before starting Delta Sleep’s program, especially if eliminating or decreasing medications is your goal.
Is the Delta Sleep Coaching program conducted online?
Yes, all educational materials and sleep diaries are done online, and all coaching sessions are done via phone. Whether you’re at home, in the car, or taking a lunch break, the goal is to make your coaching calls as convenient for you as possible.
Can I use my FSA/HSA on CBTI with Delta Sleep Coaching?
Yes, insomnia programs may be eligible for reimbursement if you have an FSA or HSA account. Speak with your plan administrator about your coverage as plans may vary.
